A unique take on business
My success in business has opened up lots of opportunities in the media. I’m a regular on Jeremy Vine’s Radio 2 show. I debated Thatchers Britain on BBC The Big Questions. I set up a school in Uganda as part of C4’s Millionaire’s Mission. I’ve written a best selling personal development book. And 2011 saw me take on the British gold industry as a journalist and presenter on C4’s Dispatches.
Business commentator
I’ve had extensive experience of working with the media and have appeared on Channel 4, Sky News, Radio Four, Radio 5 and GMTV. I’m also regular commentator on the BBC Radio 2 Jeremy Vine show.
Investigative journalist
2011 saw me investigate and present C4 Dispatches and challenge the British jewellery industry to come clean about where their gold comes from. I revealed what’s wrong with the industry and went on the road to present my unique take on how things could be done very differently. Secretly filming at Britain’s biggest high street jewellery chains, I exposed shop assistants giving vastly misleading information about where the gold in their jewellery is mined. Then, unable to get a straight answer from the stores, I travelled to the source: to the mines. In Senegal, I met a child miner and revealed his hazardous daily existence at an illegal mine.

Inspiring Television
I was lucky enough to be one of eight entrepreneurs chosen by Channel 4 to spend four weeks in Africa bringing enterprise ideas to a poverty stricken Ugandan village. And if you have teenagers, they may have also seen me on BBC 1 Beat the Boss enterprise show – yes I was the terrifying one (Cruella I think they called me).
Bestselling author
My bestselling personal development book ‘Fulfilled- A Personal Revolution in Seven Steps’ has helped thousands of people turn their lives around. It is a practical guide drawn from age-old principles – it’s a tough read, simple to understand, but difficult to put into action. But hey, I’m not here to tell you that success is easy, because it isn’t.
